About me

I’m a creator,
builder, and
problem solver.

I’ve always liked making things.

Sometimes that’s a song. Sometimes it’s software. Sometimes it’s a game. Sometimes it’s a 294-page book built out of letters my great-grandmother kept for sixty years.

The things are different. The reason usually isn’t.

I notice something that could be better — more useful, more meaningful, easier, or just more fun — and I want to find out whether I can build it. That’s most of it. It’s been that way since I was a kid.

What connects them

Written out, the list doesn’t look like it belongs to one person: music, genealogy, Disney trip planning, trivia, artist software, groceries. Look at what each one is for and it lines up.

  • Music — expression, and connecting with people.
  • Letters Sent Home — preserving something meaningful that would otherwise disappear into a box in an attic.
  • Trivia — bringing people into the same room.
  • Barlumo — helping families spend better time together.
  • Myronay — helping independent artists with problems I’ve had myself.
  • Grocery planning — a small practical problem, solved.

They don’t need to share a brand to share a person. Each one gets to be its own thing. This site is just where they’re all listed.

Why this site exists

Because I’m bad at the part that comes after finishing.

I’ve spent years learning how to make things. Releasing them is a separate skill and I never practiced it. So the pattern went: build something, get nervous, mention it twice, watch nothing happen, decide the work wasn’t good, go build something else. The flaw is obvious written down — nothing happens when you don’t tell anyone. That’s not the market talking. That’s just math.

So this is one place where all of it lives, and one list for people who actually want to know when something’s done. That’s the whole idea. I’d rather show you the work than talk about myself.

It’s also deliberately plain about where things stand. Some of this you can use today. Some is in beta. One isn’t finished and says so. I’d rather be accurate than impressive.

I care about people, and I care about craft. Everything I make starts there.

Want to know when
I make something new?

I don’t post much. But when something is actually finished, or out, or needs people to try it, I’ll send one email about it. That’s the whole thing — no newsletter, no schedule.
